Thank you for coming along to Abertay's Open Day, we hope you enjoyed checking out our campus and getting a taste of what we have to offer. Attending an Open Day is the first step on your university journey, we understand this time can be daunting, which is why we have created this guide for your next steps.
After attending an Open Day, you should take a moment to review your notes you took during your visit. Look through any prospectuses, flyers or any other materials you collected during the Open Day.
Think about what stood out to you:
Which courses interested you the most?
What bits of the experience got you excited?
Did you speak to any staff or students you'd like to follow up with?
Did you feel like you could see yourself studying here?

If you're aiming to study with us you have to apply through UCAS. You can choose up to five courses across different Uni's with just one UCAS application. Abertay's institution code is A30.
Dates Matter!
Applications should arrive directly at UCAS by the deadline date. This is the 'equal consideration' deadline, which means course providers must consider all applications received by this time equally.
Your story, your statement
Your personal statement is your opportunity to show off your skills and passions. Need some help with it? Speak to your school/college teachers and lecturers or head over to the UCAS website where there's loads of helpful advice.
If you receive an offer from us, you will be invited to an Offer Holder Day. It's a chance to really get to know your chosen course(s) even better and gives you the opportunity to:
