The Careers Service is here to support you with career decision making during your studies and after you graduate.
We provide a professional career guidance and information service for Abertay students and graduates to help them make informed career choices. We work closely with employers and academic schools to support you by developing your skills to maximise your employability.
The Careers Service can support your career planning in a number of ways, including:
We do this through face to face individual support with our professional advisors and group workshops.
One great example of our careers support is through our annual Principal’s Award.
Once you're a student at Abertay, we support you to manage all your career planning from one single dashboard. Abertay Connect allows you to browse jobs and internship opportunities, book appointments with careers staff and sign up for our workshops. If you're an existing student, you can log in to the portal by clicking here.
The Careers Service is happy to provide information and advice regarding the job prospects and career planning aspects of the courses you're applying to at Abertay, and the opportunities available to you after you graduate
We're also happy to have an informal chat with you at our Open Days and Applicant Days throughout the year.
