All our halls are privately owned, so how to pay and when depends on them.
This depends on the hall your child chooses. Some ask for a booking fee, others need a month's rent in advance.
This depends on the residence they choose, and how long they decide to stay.
Some bills are included in the rent – gas, electricity, heating, water, basic insurance and WiFi. If they watch TV on any device, they will need a TV licence. Students in Halls don’t need to pay council tax.
None of the halls provide catered accommodation, so they will need to sort out their own food.
There are supermarkets close to all our Halls, and many cafes, restaurants and takeaways nearby. Don't worry, they won’t starve!
