How much is the rent?

This depends on the hall you choose and the length of your lease. For more details, check the rent costs page or find out more about the rooms and student halls.

How do I pay the rent?

As the student halls are owned by private companies, you pay your rent direct to them. Rent payments get set up as part of the booking process. Please contact the hall you select for full details.

Are bills are included in the rent?

Hot water, heating, lighting and basic contents insurance are all included in the cost of your rent. Wifi is also provided free of charge.

In some halls there are 24/7 manned security desks. Plus the communal areas/spaces are usually cleaned as part of the rent.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Most halls don't take a deposit but may ask for a booking fee or a month's rent up front. It depends which one you choose.

 

Can my parent/carer pay my rent?

This is possible, but you should contact the hall you choose for confirmation.

How do I set up a recurring monthly payment?

You do this as part of the booking process.

What date each month do I make recurring payments?

This depends on the halls you will be staying in and the length of time you will be living there. It will be confirmed as part of your booking process.
