Choose to study Biomedical Science at Abertay University and you'll uncover the techniques needed to conduct vitally important scientific tests, which underpin the diagnosis and treatment of human disease.
Learn how the human body responds to disease, and how to use your knowledge to help identify diseases of all kinds. We teach you how to explore the biochemical processes that occur in the human body.
You'll study subjects such as biochemistry, bioethics, cell biology, genetics and Public health. This cutting-edge scientific analysis contributes greatly to the clinical outcomes of patients.
Subject Information - BSc (Hons) Forensic Sciences
Go beyond the police tape with this highly practical Forensic Sciences degree. Learn the techniques that underpin the recognition, identification, recovery, analysis and evaluation of information that can be used as evidence in a court of law.
It's a hands-on course, where you learn how to analyse a variety of scenes in our purpose-built facilities. And study physical and chemical analysis techniques in our £3 million laboratories.
This vocational programme is broken down into three main study areas - forensic science, chemistry and biology. Accredited and commended by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences.
