Personal details, contact information and nationality. Your fee status (Scottish, rUK, International) is assessed from the information you give us. If you're not sure, pick the one that fits best and we'll confirm.
List your degree and any other relevant qualifications. Upload transcripts as you go. If you're still studying, give us your interim transcript and your expected completion date.
Around 500 words. Cover three things:
• Why this course: Be specific. Name the modules, the staff and the area that drew you in
• Why you: What in your background prepares you for postgraduate study? This can be academic, professional, or a mix
• Where you want to go: What does this Masters unlock for you? A career change, a PhD, a specialism?
Don't copy and paste. Admissions read a lot of statements and the generic ones are obvious.
One academic reference is standard. If you've been out of study for more than two years, a professional reference is fine. We contact your referees directly, so give us their institutional or work email, if possible.
Check everything before you send. Once submitted, you'll get an immediate acknowledgement by email and access to the Applicant Portal to track your application.
