On Wednesday 29 January 2025, Sheila Cunningham, Professor of Social Cognition, delivered an Abstract 45 lecture titled: "From self to society: Social cognition biases and their real-world applications".

In this talk, Sheila presented her groundbreaking research on the development of social cognition biases in childhood and their enduring effects into adulthood.

She also discussed their significant influence on our daily lives, while also highlighting impactful real-world applications, particularly in education.
