All stage one and some stage two students take one interdisciplinary elective per year, which cover a range of contemporary issues facing society today such as:

Enhancing your employability
Enhancing your graduate employability is a major priority here at Abertay.
All of our degrees include work-related learning opportunities and employers are involved in the delivery of the curriculum.
We also recognise that student achievements extend beyond the formal curriculum and all of our undergraduates are provided with a Higher Education Achievement report (HEAR) when you graduate. This provides details of your university achievements, both academic and extracurricular. For example, if you successfully complete our Principal’s Award, it will appear in your HEAR.
