Students from outside Scotland (rest of UK) can apply for a range of support depending on circumstances. This can include a Maintenance Loan for living costs like rent (full-time students only), a Maintenance Grant (students from Wales and Norther Ireland only) and extra financial help if you have a disability, a partner on a low income or dependent children.
Abertay University also offer rUK Bursaries to support students from England, Wales and Northern Ireland where household income (assessed by Student Loans Company) is less than £34,000 per annum.
If you're an international student, then you're likely to pay overseas tuition fee rates and will not be entitled to help with tuition fees or living costs. You'll also be expected to have sufficient funds available to cover your tuition fees and living costs prior to starting each academic year.
The types of financial support available to you will depend on where you live, what you study, your family circumstances, whether you have previously received funding, and whether you plan to study full or part time.
Visit the Scholarship pages to find out more about the funding available.
