How to engage – information for members of the public and Schools

Our academics are keen to share their knowledge, expertise and skills with the public to have a positive impact on the world around us. Public engagement is all about learning from each other for mutual benefit. Typical activities include: lectures, festivals, competitions and exhibits; stakeholder discussion and debate about research and policy; working with the public and communities to shape and inform the research we do; involving groups of people as researchers or providing evidence to inform the work they do; supporting schools and inspiring the next generation to achieve and realise their full potential. Please get in touch with j.smith@abertay.ac.uk if you can’t find what you’re looking for or you would like to find out more.
