Abertay University is celebrating its partnership with Santander Universities by giving 10 students the chance to win £1,000 to spend on the Santander Aspire Webstore.
Students can enter the draw by visiting the Santander Scholarships website, and filling in their details. The lucky winners will be chosen at random once entries close on Friday 4th November.
Winning students can pick items from a curated version of the Aspire Store, which includes everything from laptops and audio equipment to e-scooters and academic textbooks.
Abertay has partnered with Santander since 2018, when the University signed on to the Santander Universities Scheme.
Through our partnership, we have set up a Santander Opportunities Fund at Abertay, where students who have financially challenging circumstances can apply for funds to allow them to attend work placements, conferences and as well as travel to partner universities abroad.
The partnership has also allowed us to help student and graduate business ideas become reality through our Bell Street Ventures Initiative.
Without Santander Universities, we would not be able to have a Student Enterprise Manager on-site to provide support and guidance to our budding entrepreneurs.
Santander has very kindly offered the 10 x £1,000 prizes to students in addition to the generous support it provides on a yearly basis to celebrate the success of our partnership.
Nazhat Ahmed, Abertay University Business Development Officer said: “We are thrilled that ten of our students are going to win £1,000 to spend in the Santander Aspire webstore.
“The online store has everything a student might need during their studies and I’m sure the lucky winners will have a fantastic time on their online spending spree.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to Santander Universities for their continuing support of Abertay and it’s students.”
Scott Burnett, University Relationship Manager at Santander added: “We are delighted to offer this opportunity to the students at Abertay.
"Santander Universities have been supporting Higher Education globally for 25 years, and this opportunity is a great way for us to celebrate this, while also recognising the strong relationship we enjoy with the University.”
