Abertay University’s teaching quality has been recognised in the latest Guardian University Guide.

At institutional level, Abertay University ranked inside the top 25 of the 121 universities listed, on the two key measures of satisfaction with teaching and course satisfaction.

The ranking comes in the same month that Abertay was placed in the top 20 for teaching quality in the Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide, having previously achieved the title of Sunday Times UK University of the Year for Teaching Quality 2021.

This year’s Guardian University Guide has further underlined Abertay’s reputation for teaching excellence at individual programme level, including:

Principal & Vice-Chancellor, Professor Liz Bacon said: “These rankings once again demonstrate how highly students regard the quality of our teaching and the courses we offer. To consistently achieve these excellent results across multiple benchmarks doesn’t happen by chance, it is down to the fantastic efforts of our academic and support staff who work collaboratively to make sure we provide a first-rate learning experience and transformational opportunities for our students.”
