The Tay Create Innovation Partnership is a major programme designed to accelerate innovation, business growth and investment across the Tay Cities Region's Createch (creative technology) sector.
Led by Abertay University and supported through funding from UK Research and Innovation and partner organisations, Tay Create will help businesses, entrepreneurs and researchers turn ideas into products, services and commercial opportunities.
The programme focuses on the growing opportunities created by the convergence of creativity and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, real-time 3D, extended reality and digital twins.
Local Innovation Partnership Fund
The Local Innovation Partnership Fund (LIPF) is a £500m UK Research and Innovation-led programme, funded by the UK Government. It empowers innovation leadership through local partnerships between civic institutions, business and universities. Through co-creation with UKRI, partners identify and assemble activities that draw upon local research and innovation strengths and support the high potential innovation clusters within their region.
