My degree from Abertay got me straight into my job at Lionhead. The gaming industry was nowhere near as big back then and the app store explosion had yet to happen. There were nowhere near as many companies, so just getting in the door for an interview was very difficult.
DARE was almost as valuable as my degree. Eighty per cent of my team are still working in the gaming industry today.
I'm proud of many titles I've worked on. The Movies was my first big one, Fable II did well and was fondly received and I’m proud of my independent stuff like MMA Manager. Only two people worked on that and it’s an indie game which actually made money!
