The Spotlight Sessions feature a variety of services and teams at Abertay University, showcasing what they offer and specialise in. We will have guests from our Careers Team, Abertay Students' Association, Abertay Sport and the Counselling Team joining us across these events.
The Masters' Discovery Sessions provide a deep dive into the subject of what you will learn, how you will learn and what academic insight you can expect from the next year at Abertay University.
Finally, the Pre-Departure events are designed to help prepare you for coming to Scotland; how to plan your journey, what to pack and bring with you and what to do once you arrive in Dundee. We will also cover important dates, deadlines and other crucial information that you will hopefully find useful.

In our first Information Session of the year, we invite all of our International applicants to join us for a run through of the next few months of activities, deadlines and tasks that you need to be aware of. We will also cover advice and guidance on all current aspects of the application - CAS Shield, the financial requirements such as the deposit, accommodation and any UKVI updates that have been released. There will be time for questions at the end, so please join us for a jam packed session!

Our first Spotlight Session will focus on advice and tips from Enroly, we will be showing you how to use, fill in and complete your CAS Shield profile ahead of the CAS deadline coming up. There will be a chance for a Q&A at the end of the session so we hope you will join us to get the most out of this insightful session.

In our first Masters' Discovery Session, we welcome Dr Sean Brown, Senior Lecturer for the MSc Biomedical Science programme, to talk about the degree and what you can look forward to whilst studying at Abertay University. This is a brand new Masters for January 2025 and today's session tell you everything you need to know about it. There will be a Q&A chance at the end of the presentation, so please join us and find out more.

In our next Masters' Discovery Session, we welcome Alan Thompson, Programme Lead for MSc Fintech, to talk about the degree and what you can look forward to whilst studying at Abertay University. Fintech graduates are in demand as the technological and data challenges pose multiple opportunities for development.
