UK domestic travel

There are currently no travel restrictions within the UK related to Covid-19.

Students travelling overseas should be aware of the international travel rules and requirements for individual countries. Check the Foreign Office website for the latest information and advice.

International travel to Scotland

International students who are travelling to Scotland to come to Abertay should follow the latest Scottish Government guidance at the time of travel.

We encourage anyone who is not yet fully vaccinated to arrange vaccination as soon as possible after arrival. Further information on local vaccine clinics can be found at NHS Inform.

China

The UK Government has introduced COVID-19 related travel restrictions for people arriving into England from mainland China. From 5 January 2023, anyone travelling from mainland China on direct flights to England will be asked to take a pre-departure COVID-19 test. Airlines will be required to check that passengers from mainland China have a negative test before departure. The Scottish Government has not announced any changes to travel restrictions for passengers arriving into Scotland from China.
