Teaching and timetabling

We are currently operating blended learning (a mix of in-person and online) and all students can expect to be on campus for teaching.

Measures such as enhanced ventilation and hand hygiene continue to be important in our efforts to minimise the risk of transmission on campus.

What is blended learning?

Blended learning is a mix of face-to-face teaching which will take place on campus, live online teaching sessions and access to materials prepared in advance.

When will I have to come to campus for teaching?

Personal timetables outlining your specific face-to-face and online attendance requirements will be issued be our Timetables team.

If you would like to discuss your individual circumstances in the meantime, please contact SEZ in the first instance.

Will I be able to study remotely if I have to stay at home due to Covid?

If you unable to attend the campus there will be support in place to allow you to study online. Please let the University know as soon as possible if you do have to self-isolate so we can arrange any support you may need.

How much on campus teaching will there be?

The exact number of teaching hours on campus varies between different programmes or modules. Please check your personal timetable for this information.
