Tony Marks

Biography

Tony is an Independent Trustee for a number Employee Ownership Trusts (listed in the Register of Interests), a Director of The Centre for Professional Development and a Director the Chartered Management Institute in Scotland.

Tony is a Fellow of The Association for Project Management, a Fellow and Chartered Manager (CMgr) of The Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of The Institute of Leadership & Management. He was the author of ‘2020 Project Management’ published by Kogan Page, co-author of 'The Practitioner Handbook of Project Controls' published by Routledge, and also author of the 'Standard for Project Management of Capital Projects for NHS Scotland'. He also co-developed MSc in Project Management for Aberdeen University and York St. John University.

Tony was previously the founder & CEO of 20/20 Project Management, the founder & CEO of a collaborative learning research company called BusinessLab ®, a Director of Worldwide Learning (a division of News Corporation), a Director of two software companies, and a Project Manager with British Telecom. He has also been a Charity Trustee, served on the Scottish Enterprise Regional Advisory Board for Tayside and was a Board Member of the Scotland for Employee Ownership Industry Leadership Group.

He resides in Broughty Ferry, Dundee and works throughout the UK.
