I have a life-long interest in education and am committed to supporting Abertay as a widening access institution.

Biography 

Fiona is a senior member of the Scottish Bar, specialising in reparation and public inquiries. Originally from Glasgow and now living in Edinburgh, she is a graduate of the Universities of Edinburgh and Paris-Sud. Her previous experience includes working as a solicitor for a large commercial firm and as a legal translator for the Court of Justice of the European Union. As Deputy Clerk of the Faculty of Advocates, she organised the Scottish bar exams for several years and she has been a part-time tutor and lecturer at the University of Edinburgh. She has also acted as a legal assessor for the General Teaching Council for Scotland.
