After being disappointed by so many modern horror films that rely on cheap tricks like jump scares, quick cuts and loud noises to scare the audience I decided that for my honours project I would attempt to create my own creatures and character designs in the hopes of being able to create something that I found scary.

Or would any fear I felt be lost during the creation process by constantly being exposed to it? The designs would be created by digital painting in Photoshop and the final work includes character sheets and illustrations.
