Lost in the Mantas: A portraiture of loneliness

“Lost in the Mantas: A portraiture of loneliness” is a 2021 Digital Graduate Show project by Daniel Maclean, a Computer Arts student at Abertay University.

Synopsis

I’ve created several concept illustrations depicting one girl’s journey through a desolated cityscape of which she has to fight every day to survive. This project was a study of loneliness therefore by design, the images are oriented more a as character study rather than a structured narrative. These images have been produced in essence to expose what a lonely person can look and feel like in their darkest moments.
