Lockerbie bombing inquiry psychologist to deliver talk at Abertay

An internationally renowned Forensic Psychologist who provided expertise in the Lockerbie bombing and Alexander Litvinenko legal inquiries is to take part in an online talk hosted by Abertay University and Abertay Psychology Society.

Professor Ray Bull, an expert in the investigative interviewing of suspects, witnesses, and victims, has provided expertise in more than 150 legal cases, many of them high profile.

During his free lecture, he will discuss new approaches to interviewing suspects of crime which encourage them to provide as much relevant information as possible.

The Usual Suspect? The Science behind High-Quality Suspect interviews by Professor Ray Bull is the first Michael Lamb Lecture, which is intended to become an annual event at Abertay.

Named after Abertay Honorary Graduate Professor Michael Lamb, the series is co-organised by the student-led Abertay Psychology Society and Abertay’s Division of Psychology and Forensic Sciences.
