He will help the company enhance the ability of HaRi-bot, a chatbot that uses a companies HR policies, employee handbook and employee data to learn about an organisation, allowing it to accurately answer questions.

Andrew had initially worked with HRI through the Summer Challenge project, in partnership with Abertay University and the Norman Fraser Design Trust, which is supporting his placement.

Andrew said: “Between coursework with industry clients and opportunities such as Abertay Challenge and Dare Academy, I’ve been thrown into invaluable experiences at Abertay with real responsibilities and deadlines time and time again.

“It’s helped me gain this opportunity, which I’m very excited about.”

"Our partnership with Abertay University and the Norman Fraser Design Trust has enabled this first step and Andrew is a brilliant addition to the team.” - Louise Rogers, CEO, HRI

This role is the second partnership for HRI with Abertay University and the Norman Fraser Design Trust.

Louise Rogers, CEO of HRI commented “I’m delighted that the Norman Fraser Design Trust have committed this further funding for an industrial placement with Abertay.  My intention, when founding HRI, was to be able to provide opportunities locally.

"Our partnership with Abertay University and the Norman Fraser Design Trust has enabled this first step and Andrew is a brilliant addition to the team.”
